“Dr. Joseph Goebbels wrote that ‘A lie told once remains a lie, but a lie told a thousand times becomes the truth.’ Tragically for humanity, there are many, many untruths emanating from Fauci and his minions. RFK Jr. exposes the decades of lies.”
— Luc Montagnier, Nobel laureate
French virologist, co-discoverer of HIV in 1983 and winner of the 2008 Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine for his work on the discovery of HIV, together with his colleague Françoise Barré-Sinoussi of the Pasteur Institute. In the November 29, 2002 issue of the journal Science, Montagnier and ROBERT GALLO published a series of articles, one of which was co-written by the two scientists, in which they acknowledged the key role that each of them separately, as well as in mutual collaboration, has played in the discovery of HIV over the past nearly 40 years. At the same time, Harald zur Hausen received a prize for discovering that human papilloma viruses lead to cervical cancer. Robert Gallo, however, was overlooked. Gallo said that for him it was a "disappointment" that he was not announced as a co-laureate. Montagnier, for his part, said he was "surprised" that Gallo was not recognized by the Nobel Committee: "I'm very sorry for Robert Gallo," Montagnier told Science in Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire, where he was attending an HIV meeting. Montagnier says he was "surprised" as well: "It was important to prove that HIV was the cause of AIDS, and Gallo had a very important role in that."
