The Marvelous Musical Mayhem of - a prelude: The Yamaha CP20 (Plus Dean Markley DM130C 75W Amplifier)
Hi everyone!
This video is a prelude to the Marvelous Musical Mayhem series.
The video was produced in a bit of a rush as the instrument in question had to be delivered to a certain deadline. As such there were various things which could have been improved, and I look upon this as a learning experience. Key lessons learned were:
1. I need a better webcam. Even my phone would have done a better job than this! However, at least my identity is largely protected through aggressive blurring :D
2. Make sure the mic stand is not touching the instrument you are playing. Otherwise it will always sound as if a stampede is passing by as you play. If there had been more time I would have re-recorded. Live and learn.
3. Playing instruments you cannot play is challenging, particularly when you have to edit them together into some semblance of a song! :D
Anyway, in spite of its flaws, I hope you enjoy it.

Doctor Alex and The Regenerations take on Uriah Heep's "Lady In Black". This song choice and video is inspired by the tragic tale of Doctor Alex and Mrs Anti-trekker as told through the amazing Anti-trekker's awesome Superchat rewards.
I hope he doesn't mind ;)

I hope people enjoy this :D :D
A song Ella and I are practicing together. Still a little rough on my side, but getting there...
Version 2 with boosted vocals.
After a typically beautiful rendition of "Teenage Kicks" by the Undertones by BirdOPrey5 on one of his recent excellent livestreams, Doctor Alex and the Regenerations were then able to combine musical forces to produce... this!
Enjoy ;)

Hi everyone!
This is a video in the the Marvelous Musical Mayhem series.
It is a Bonus Track or "B-side" if you like to the album
"Regenerations Past", which can be found here:
This spare track was discovered lost down the back of the sofa and was overlooked during the making of the album. And so it has been given its own special video right here ;)
Hope you enjoy.
All the best.
