Grammy's Rocket Chair - Happy "Do-Whacka-Do-Whacka-Do-Whacka-Do" Wednesday!
Do you remember the saying "Knowledge is Power"? Do you realize that when you are Sharing Your Knowledge, You May NOT "Know" what You're Talking About? So....... Where's the "Power" in That??? Well...... I'm gonna tell you where I Think it is........
You exercise a bit of that "Power" every time you Share Your "Knowledge"..... and the Amount of "Power" is proportional to Your Ability to "Convince" Others that You "Know" what You're Talking About, regardless of whether you are "Correct" or Not!
The Next Step Up on the "Knowledge/Power" Path is where Those that Gave/Taught You that "Knowledge" reside..... That's where Your Parents, Your Teachers, Your Peers & The Information Media is....... Granted, it's not a Big Step...... more like an uneven sidewalk..... just enough to Trip You Up if you aren't careful. Now, you may ask..... How can it Trip You Up? Well, I'll get to that in just a moment....
The Rest of, or more accurately, The BULK of the "Knowledge/Power" rests with "The System" that Perpetuates the Current/Accepted "Knowledge" by Controlling the Information used to Create that "Knowledge"! I Say "Create" because when "The System" Controls the Information, it also Controls How it's Gathered, How it's Put Together and What YOU are Allowed to Have Access To....... and THIS is where You can Easily Get "Tripped Up" because even "They System" doesn't Really "Know" what it's talking about...... it's just concerned with Keeping Itself In Place by Keeping YOU In Place!
So now that we "Know" where I Think the "Power" Lies (pun intended)...... I'm sure you're wanting to know what I Suggest WE should Do to Shift out of Our Placement?!? The Simple Answer is "ASK QUESTIONS" and KEEP Asking Them Until You Ask the Right Question that Places You on the Path or True/Correct "Knowledge"....... and then KEEP ASKING!
You see...... Life is FULL of Mysteries...... Some are Intentional in order to Keep the Current System in Place but MOST are not...... and That's WHY You Need to Continue Asking & Learning! Mark Twain once said ~ "Anyone who stops learning is old, whether twenty or eighty. Anyone who keeps learning stays young. The greatest thing you can do is keep your mind young."
YOU have the Ultimate "Power" when it comes to "Knowledge"...... You Just Have to Exercise It by Questioning Everything...... Even Your BeLIEf that You "Know".......
