Oxford Rail OR76BOOM03 | Boche Buster | WWI Artillery Railgun | Model Wagon | OO Gauge | Review | ..

Here is the last model train review to come of September 2019 and this is the Oxford Rail OO gauge scale model of the Howitzer Boche Buster WWI Artillery Railgun that was one of only two to exist with the other model being the "Gladiator" and these were used by the German forces in World War 1.

This is my very first model train rolling stock from Oxford Rail that I have and this model is quite heavy compared to my other OO gauge freight wagons that I own. The cannon can be raised into three positions and lowered as it "clicks" into place. The model is made of metal and plastic and the detail of this model is just amazing.

I have not done a test run of this model just yet but I am going to be using this in a future model train running session as and when I get more appropriate freight wagons to match it and I shall be making my own personalised military model train based on no particular era so I can run what I want and when I want with it at any time and any era I see fit ;).
