So what's the controversy here? This short is a self-parody of several specials produced in 1990 celebrating Bugs Bunny's 50th Anniversary. There are subtle jabs at studio greed and incompetence. Daffy Duck mentions Warner Bros. by name, as he accuses them of "not having an original bone in their body". Perhaps that is why it sat on the shelf for six years until it was aired by Cartoon Network in 1997,
