after about three hours igt of dying over and over again I did it, I beat ludwig. one of my favorite bosses ever but damn if he isn't hard. I kept playing phase 1 flawlessly then just getting instantly rekt in phase 2. most common deaths were the quick two slashes, and getting clipped by his sword trying to dodge slashes. this fight he decided to do the big sword aoe/smash in the worst possible position, and as usual the fight I win has the sloppiest phase 1 ever. still happy to have won ofc, and it was fun to learn the boss to this extent. he can't be backstabbed so I think he will end up being more difficult than orphan but who knows.
