Since the announcement of the plan to diminish Israel’s Supreme Court in January, the country has experienced instability and an unparalleled political and social crisis that has affected its economy, Axios reported.

On Sunday, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s decision to dismiss Defense Minister Yoav Gallant took Israel by surprise, especially after Gallant had called for the suspension of the legislation, citing concerns over the plan creating, “an internal rift that poses a clear and immediate threat for Israel’s national security.”
