In this video Måns and I hike to a remote cabin in the wilderness to overnight in the spectacular winter landscape. I take a detour to a small lake where I saw fish taking flies in the summer. I try a little ice fishing to see what's under the ice and potentially catch some extra food. I catch a small but nice Perch but it's around -15c in the day so I don't want to keep Måns sitting around for too long, so we continue to the cabin.
This particular cabin is one of the less used cabins in the wilderness and isnt well stocked so some basic sleep gear, food and tools are needed.
It's a fantastic place to spend some time in solitude and we got very lucky and had a display from the northern lights which i caught on a timelapse on my gopro.
