Continuing my National Geographic archives, I stumbled across this article written in 1971 about old Maui. I have been following HawaiiRealEstate on YouTube since the fire that destroyed Lahaina, and continues on it's wake of destruction as the toxic debris is now being buried in Pele's Womb. I feel a strong calling to bring some of the history of Maui to light. I hope you enjoy the three part series of this article.
