The great war of 1960 left very little of the human race and now the President wants to prevent what happened then, prevent that atomic war which annihilated virtually all of the population. The president wants to send a scientist back 30 years in time to murder Albert Einstein as his e=mc2 formula unlocked the atom. Without it there would have been no atomic energy and consequently no bob and no war!

Dimension X was an NBC radio program broadcast mostly on an unsponsored, sustaining basis from April 8, 1950, to September 29, 1951. The first 13 episodes were broadcast live, and the remainder were prerecorded. Fred Wiehe and Edward King were the directors, and Norman Rose was heard as both announcer and narrator, opening the show with: "Adventures in time and space... told in future tense..." (Wikipedia)
