Occupy Your Mind-Ep. 31 Limousine Liberals versus the rest of us
Worried about losing your civil liberties due to this pandemic? People, we need to push back, and there are things we can do.
Here's what we need to do to stop this:
1. We need to overturn the 1986 Nat'l Childhood Vaccine Injury Protection Act. This law makes it nearly impossible for us to sue vaccine manufacturers if we or our children are injured by a vaccine. It takes years to adequately safety test vaccines. This testing costs money. Now, the pharma industry doesn't need to do it! They can shoot us up with faulty, inadequately tested vaccines that could do more harm than good and that may not even be necessary. Because they lobby our politicians, they can convince them to make it mandatory. Some states no longer allow people to refuse vaccines based on religious or personal views. This should scare everyone, regardless of political partisanship. (And yes, much of what we're hearing about this virus is influenced by politics.)
2. We need to make it illegal for pharma companies to advertise. If their drugs and vaccines are so good, effective, necessary and safe, then why do they need to advertise? Doctors seeking treatment options for patients can research the drugs on their own. If the drugs are good, effective, necessary and safe, then doctors will prescribe them. Because pharma companies can advertise, they fund our media sources. Our corporate-controlled media needs the advertising revenue. Instead of reporting the news, "journalists" are simply promoting the needs of these big companies. The pharma industry pays their salaries so they won't dare offend them.
3. We need to make it illegal for pharma companies (and all big businesses really) to donate money to political campaigns. Get money out of politics! We need to also make it illegal for pharma companies to donate money or offer free gifts to universities, schools, hospitals, doctors, clinicians, etc. If they are giving money or gifts to healthcare or educational institutions, then they will influence research, testing, information that is distributed and healthcare policy. This is very dangerous.
4. We need to repeal the Patriot Act. The Patriot Act? What's that? The Patriot Act was passed after the 9/11 attack. We were told it was a temporary measure to fight terrorism but nearly 20 years later, it is still in effect. Essentially, this law dismantles our 4th Amendment right to privacy.
This is a big part of the reason why highly invasive contact tracing methods are being used and employers are being allowed to monitor their employees' health status--taking their temperature before they can start work. (This won't stop the spread of the virus when we're being told that we might not have any symptoms, so why is this being done?) This is very dangerous from the point of view of democracy--the people having a voice in their government.
If you don't know anything about history or current events, then I can't help you. All around the world, politicians have tried and continue to try to control large populations of people. That's not conspiracy theory. That's just the way the world works.
Now, they have the technology to control practically our every move. Frightened of a virus? Afraid of getting sick? Heck, that's nothing. The future will be a lot more scary if we don't push back against this NOW.
Second half of the show, we discuss how wealthy people who won't benefit from social change have hijacked the so-called "progressive" movement. Was this by design?
