Will have series spoilers for stuff up to Book 5 and a few examples beyond. Like what happens with some of the PM tech. Let's just get this out of the way: It became too dark without any light to contrast it. Even the re-imagined BSG has contrasts. But everything is trying to out do Game of Thrones in terms of themes and Nihilism.
