I replaced my fuel pump on my 2004 GSXR. The bike would bog down at high RPMs, after 10k RPM. I had cleaned the fuel filter by reverse blowing it with air & reassembling it. This will not even allow the bike to start. Part of the rubber seal was not sitting properly. Pls ensure that you use some engine oil to slip the rubber into the filter housing. I measured the pressure on the old pump it was 30 psi, & would drop to 20 psi when I revved the bike. Flow rate was 250 ml / 10 sec.

With the new pump, pressure is a constant 44 psi even when I redlined the engine. Flow rate was an awesome 315 ml/ 10 sec.
This is with an ebay, Kenro fuel pump. My bike now fire up with ease. I will wait till weather gets better to take a ride around the block.
