Here's a testimony you can dance to. One of my friends from Tennessee told me of the difficult life she lead when she was younger. She got into the wrong crowd, became an exotic dancer and life crashed. Today, she is happy and that, because she met someone who turned her life around - Jesus. I asked her why did you finally turn to him? She said that "life got so bad that it felt like a deep, dark hole and the only way out was up. That's when I saw his hand reach down to help me out and I grabbed it and he pulled me up. Since then life has been increasingly brighter." I just had to write a song about this great testimony and so, here it it, Love Lifted Me. This song is based, also on the verse Psalms 40:2:
He lifted me out of the slimy pit,
out of the mud and mire;
he set my feet on a rock
and gave me a firm place to stand.
I love the way God has also helped me out of my own "pit" - a dysfunctional family and brought me into his family - the many Christian brothers and sisters I have all over the globe.I hope you enjoy this song. Drop me a comment below and let me know if this is relatable to you.
