PAC's oversight visit to Lubowa Hospital site - Speaker, Anita Among writes to committee

Parliament’s public accounts committee’s planned oversight visit to Lubowa specialized hospital project site remains uncertain following the speaker of parliament, Anita Annet Among’s kind request to the committee to differ their visit which was to take place Friday, 26th April.
The speaker’s request followed, yet another letter from the ministry of health permanent Secretary, Dr. Diana Atwine, requesting for more time.
During a press conference to update the media on this visit, the chairperson of the public accounts committee, Muhammad Muwanga Kivumbi, said Dr. Atwine cited the big number of the committee members who require protective wear like gumboots, reflector jackets and plastic headgears, whose procurement, allegedly, takes some time.
