Lolli and Pops Japanese Candy Section Taste Test | Kit Kats and Mochi

We went to Lolli and Pops at West County Mall in St. Louis to look for a gift for Mother's day. We came back with a load of candy to try. Check it out here as we share our thoughts on the different Japanese candy they have to offer.

Baking the Butter Cookie Kit Kats in convection oven (for toaster oven, follow direction on package):

1) Preheat oven to 350 F on convect setting
2) Line baking sheet with parchment paper. (We used a silicon baking mat, but parchment paper will work too. DON'T USE WAX PAPER!!)
3) Remove bars from wrapper and place on lined baking sheet so that the cookies are not touching.
4) Bake for 15-20 minutes or until cookies begin turning golden-brown.
5) Change oven to broil setting and watch cookies. They will begin to darken quickly. Pull them out when they finish turning that nice golden-brown color.
6) Let cool. Cookies will be soft to the touch when they are removed from the oven. You want to let them cool and harden before you try to handle them.
7) Enjoy.
