Saskatchewan born and raised he gave us our first Human Rights Act, that was later repatriated by Pierre Trudeau and Queen Elisabeth II. He had a very good sense of humour and often told stories about Churchill, and Sir John A Macdonald among many others. Some of his stories are included in this video.
