Lets compare recreational Weed and Hemp! Hemp is Cannabis and Cannabis is hemp….but there are many types of Cannabis and Hemp is one specific type of it. You can’t get high smoking Hemp unless you really put it away, because it has very very little THC content; it is also quite unique genetically. Hemp can be used for Food, Textiles, Paper, rope, fuel and even Building Materials (Ever heard of Hempcrete?) Unfortunately, the Reefer Madness Era caused this very useful & rapid-growing natural resource to be squandered because of its loose affiliation with the ‘marijuana’ that makes you high.
