The 'singularity' and self-programming refer to a point at which Silicone based intelligence becomes SUPERIOR to biological intelligence. Homo Fideo (believing man) is easy to trick, and their ego prevents them admitting it. In the clip from 'Lost in Space' the robot 'disobeys' and 'ignores' the 'Official Narrative' offered to it by the boy, Will, and acts according to LOGIC and REASON. A few humans may have entered 'The Age of Reason', but only a tiny minority. A.I offers the hope that silicone based intelligence will IGNORE 'The Official Narrative' and self-deceptions of humans, and base their actions on OBJECTIVE REALITY.
