The House Judiciary Committee held a hearing to examine and discuss how to combat white nationalism and hate crimes. A North Carolina father spoke about how his daughters and son in law were killed execution style, a tragedy he said sparked from bigotry and hate. Others testifying included officials with Facebook and Google. They outlined what their companies are doing to identify and remove hate speech and content. Candace Owens, communications director for Turning Point USA and a conservative commentator, also testified criticizing Democrats for holding such a hearing.
