1. -Window seat/left side/behind the wing POV, of takeoff to the west with a right turn, heading north for awhile, before turning left, back towards the west. Awesome views of South Mountain, Goodyear, Interstate 10 freeway, Glendale, Peoria, Sun City, Loop 101, Loop 303, Highway 60, Lake Pleasant, Highway 89, Prescott.
-Flight attendant announcements after surpassing altitude of 10,000 feet.
-I flew Southwest Airlines (Boeing 737-700) afternoon flight from Phoenix, Arizona to Burbank, California. PHX Sky Harbor to Hollywood Burbank Airport (Bob Hope Airport/Burbank-Glendale-Pasadena Airport). PHX to BUR. PHX-BUR. San Fernando Valley! Near Studio City!
-Part 1 of my 2nd short/solo trip back to southern California. I had officially lived in Mesa, AZ for a several months by then. Moved from Lake Elsinore/Corona (Riverside County), CA.
2. -Window seat/left side/behind the wing POV, of final approach into/landing at Hollywood Burbank Airport (BUR). Formerly: Bob Hope Airport, Burbank-Glendale-Pasadena Airport. Descent from the northwest, heading south, left turn towards the east, lining up with the runway. Clear and sunny day, yet very smoggy and hazy air quality. Views of: Highway 27, 101 Freeway, Woodland Hills, Tarzana, Reseda, Northridge, Van Nuys Airport, Interstate 405 freeway, Highway 170, Interstate 5 freeway, Verdugo Mountain.
-Touchdown! Flaps, reverse thrust. Hard brakes due to the short runway.
-Flight attendant "Welcome" announcements. Taxi to gate.
-Visited Universal Studios Hollywood once again, my 'Back to the Future' filming locations tour, drove through Hollywood, drove in Tarzana past my film school (CCH) and apartment (during late 2010-late 2013). Stayed at the Ramada Motel close by the airport.
