This song isn't about a girl called Dela, as I had wrongly assumed for the past 25 years. Dela in Zulu translates to the home of your heart or contentment.

After recording the Mbube/Lion Sleeps Tonight song and watching the excellent 'Lion's Share' movie I ordered Rian Malan's book 'My Traitor's Heart', which arrived today. I know it is going to be a confronting read.
