Not many people today are asking the age old question, "How can I get to Heaven?" Most people have been educated to disbelief in any Utopian ideals. Our Liberal education has not been kind to the ideals of a perfect world, unless it is a perfectly wicked and corrupt world. The ideal of a perfectly holy world filled with angels and saints, the light of God and everything good, this is a thing rejected at the gut level by the modern man.
Even Christians have gotten wise to the fact that in the Scriptures it does not promise we will go to heaven or live on some cloud or ascend to a dwelling place on high. It depicts our home as on the new Earth and in the New Jerusalem, the City of God. God Himself and the Lamb will be our light. There will no longer be any Sun, Moon, or stars.
But how can I get to the City of God? Surely, not everyone will go there. No. We explain what the Scriptures speak as the true Christian life that results in our arrival in the pleasure of God through the gates of that most holy of cities.
