Vaccine risk-benefit ratios

"There's this amazing group called Physicians for Informed Consent, and they did a whole piece on the MMR, the measles vaccine, and they actually looked at the death rate for measles before the measles vaccine was introduced and the death rate for measles was 0.23 per 100,000 before the measles vaccine was introduced in the mid '60s, in fact if you caught measles in the 1960s, your chance of dying from it was like one in 10,000.

So Physicians for Informed Consent, they took that data, on the actual risk of dying from measles,and they compared that to the damage that the vaccine itself causes, and their conclusion which is readily available on the Physicians for Informed Consent website, is that the measles vaccine is not worth it.

It's amazing to me Del, that in 1998 or whatever, Andrew Wakefield said I think we should break the MMR up into three different shots or whatever, and he was pilloried, raked over the coals. In 2018 we have a group called Physicians for Informed Consent, made up of dozens if not more doctors, they're based in California, they just recommended, do not get the MMR shot at all, because the risks outweigh the benefits, and what's different about the world we live in today versus the world in 1998 is that it just doesn't get reported on but it's sitting there in plain site for any parent to go and look at. That to me is the type of analysis that needs to be done on every vaccine."
