- The study of the Self is the study of the Universe. The knowledge of the Hermetic principles was kept alive through out the centuries by a few Initiates. Occult knowledge was kept hidden to avoid being smothered by the early Christian religion of Constantine. Understanding these 7 Hermetic Principles will open the door to understanding the science of the human soul and of the Universe.
