One of the Oldest Mosques in Eastern Arabia (Walking the Earth; Arabia)

Checking out one of the oldest mosques in Eastern Arabia, and likely the first mosque built in Bahrain, the Khamis Mosque, whose foundations are believed to have been laid during the late 600s of the current era, and completed sometime during the reign of the Ummayad caliph Umar II. What we see in the video is a restored building whose foundations go back 900 to 1000 years.
