Animal feed recall

Ireland just discovered that much of their animal feed was contaminated with dioxin. As a result, recalls have been placed on all pork processed in Ireland. The dioxin levels discovered were 80 to 200 times higher than legally allowed. This can cause major health issues for people that consume the meat. Now, my chickens eat layer pellets and everything seemed to be fine. However, as I have begun to reach the bottom of the bag, one of my young birds died and the rest of my chickens have began rejecting the laying pellets. I would expect this to happen with the bottom of the bag if the feed was contaminated with dioxin. because dioxin is a halogen and halogens are heavier than air, it tends to concentrate in the bottom of wherever it is accumulated. hence, I am testing the bottom of the bag.
