SCHOOLS ARE NO PLACE FOR CHILDREN

Schools are not the best environments for children, but they're not meant to be. School is just a step in the process intended to mold kids into drones. Original or creative thought is often discouraged, testing is done only to secure funding or incentives for the school itself and any education that does not apply to the test is scrapped as unnecessary. On top of the unending string of academic failures, there are instances of children either being directly mistreated or being confined to unhealthy environments. Schools are merely one symptom of a broken system, but it is a serious one as it has the greatest effect on the literal future of our society.
