Ov Hollowness - Drawn to Descend [Atmospheric Black Metal]

Building upon the foundations of the 'Diminished' album, 'Drawn to Descend' is an album which uses relative simplicity to deliver a very catchy, fairly straight forward album with strong use of eerie guitar solos, effective drumming, catchy melodies, and thrashy riffs which all combine to make a solid black metal album which is free of gimmicks. While having some similarities to older black metal classics, you can tell that this is not a regurgitation of classic bands, but rather a combination of the simplicity of older black metal with an altogether modern sound.
