been that way in the Netherlands for years. You can make an appointment and they will get the money, but for spontaneous withdrawals, you need to use the outside or inside ATMs. What’s new recently is that ATMs are disappearing. It’s getting hard to find one

The banks will argue that it’s not your money it’s theirs, they created it, lent it to someone and it made its way into your bank account by a circuitous route, but it’s still their and they can take it back anytime they want.
