We need to stop lying to teenage girls. I say this as a 27yo who has spent the last 10 years focussed on becoming a physician. We shoot ourselves in the feet by not valuing the role of the mother, which is a role that will bring immense happiness. This video was inspired by a question in the latest episode of QandA: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=18u6a... "Do you think the role of the stay-at-home is adequately valued in today's society? As a stay-at-home-mother, I don't feel valued by society, as most of what I hear is about getting back to work as soon as possible, and you don't hear about the benefit of staying at home for the children."
