I went down to shoot video of the protest, not because I felt I had a dog in that hunt.., and within about 30 mnutes of being there, Cops sprayed me, twice (second time in the eyes, which immediately swelled shut, so whatever does that is what it was). Medics rushed up the hill to help me, and they were shot with gas-cannisters, as was I. Even though I was blinded, I kept my camera rolling (behind and above me!) so you're seeing that and you're seeing footage from they carrying me to safety.
These cops were not ALL Austin or Texas cops. Many may not have been cops, at all. They were wearing uniforms which did not fit them, were unbuttoned, and one had pants with a broken fly (zipper.) Texas cops, of any sort, would never go to work like that!
