Microsoft has worked to FIX the Windows 10 1809 October update. Previously, the feature update was deleting user files, causing a bit of a panic. Sure, it only impacted 0.01% of users, but that's still at least 4 million people at risk of data loss. The update has been fixed and re-deployed, and Microsoft has worked to improve the Feedback Hub with goals of preventing this from ever happening again.

NOTE: my math is bad, I'm running on little sleep. It's .01% NOT .01x 400 million. Oh well, the point stands, enjoy your free angry comment bait.
