Right now, You have power to do as you please, You wake up, You decide what you are going to wear, what You are going to eat, and where You are going to go?
It's all up to You, You have total freedom to do exactly what you want. How ever Solomon tells us that that all changes at the moment of death?
Ecc 8:8 There is no man that hath power over the spirit to retain the spirit; neither hath he power in the day of death:
Solomon tells us we lose all power at death, we are taken into custody, we have absolutely no say in the matter, we are at the mercy of someone else?
Their is one exception to this rule, this law of death, His name is Jesus Christ.
Joh 10:17-18 Therefore doth my Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I might take it again.18 No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment have I received of my Father.
Jesus Christ has all The Power, He decides your fate at death.
Lazarus; Joh 11:23-26 Jesus saith unto her, Thy brother shall rise again.
Joh 11:24 Martha saith unto him, I know that he shall rise again in the resurrection at the last day. 25 Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: 26 And whosoever lives and believeth in me shall never die.
Joh 11:39a, 43-44 Jesus said, Take ye away the stone. 43 And when he thus had spoken, he cried with a loud voice, Lazarus, come forth. 44 And he that was dead came forth, bound hand and foot with graveclothes: and his face was bound about with a napkin. Jesus saith unto them, Loose him, and let him go.
Notice He called Lazarus by name, had He not every dead person in the area would have come forth?
Lazarus and The Rich Man; Luk 16:22-23 And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham's bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried; 23 And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.
