A Song for Colin

Colin Dryden came to Australia in 1965, at the age of 22. He became well-known on the Australian Folk music scene and wrote three brilliant ballads about the working life, himself, his father(?) and grandfather (Factory Lad, Sither and Pit Boy), you can listen on the site the Colin's niece set up here:

I've written this song after spending the last two months speaking with people who knew Colin, reading what has been written about him and listening to archival recordings. Even so, I feel like I've only seen a very narrow slice of the 21 years Colin spent in Australia.
