Focusing on the making of the Flowers In the Dirt album, Put It There features a combination of interview footage, full renditions and segments of some 23 songs, this brand new version contains 20 minutes of hitherto unseen footage and four extra tracks. It also includes songs from every phase of Paul McCartney's career; from his rock 'n' roll roots, through his years with the Beatles and Wings, his collaboration with artists such as Elvis Costello to his solo work. Featured tracks include such all-time classics as Fool on the Hill, The Long and Winding Road, Lucille and Let It Be. In addition to the music, McCartney's candid comments on everything from the Beatles to his music and his band to his concerns for the environment, reveal a whole new side to the musical legend. Aiding the superstar is a brilliant line-up including ex Average White band member Hamish Stuart (guitar, bass, vocals); the late Linda McCartney (keyboards, vocals); ex Pretenders Robbie McIntosh (lead guitar, vocals); Chris Whitten (drums) and top session keyboard player, Wix. McCartney is also joined by Elvis Costello on My Brave Face and by Trevor Horn.
