She also discusses why she thinks there is less pressure on swing states than most people think and how the Electoral College system decreases the odds that an election could be stolen by hacking or some other means. There are beginning to be more people trying to get rid of the Electoral College, and instead have a majority-rule affair where the President is chosen by a national popular vote. So It’s more important than ever to understand what the Electoral College is and why America uses it to elect its presidents.
