Much of the portrayal of slavery in America by the major media is deliberately designed to divide Americans. It has always been a Communist strategy to divide Americans, as the old adage 'United We Stand, Divided We Fall' is very true today. It could be easily argued that the main fault of Southern succession plays right into "Divided We Fall". although the True reason for Southern succession was over Yankee taxes, not slavery. The South paid the vast majority of taxes in the USA and the North received the most amount of benefits from those taxes. Slavery in the South, strictly from a money or financial standpoint, doesn't give credibility to widespread severe mistreatment of slaves in the South. Approximately only 2% of Southerners owned slaves in the South, since slaves were a 'capital asset' whose worth exceeded real estate (land) values. Slaves were considered valuable property with far more Southerners owning horses than slaves. For the major media and current film producers to constantly portray the severe mistreatment of slaves in the South, is akin to also claiming that valuable assets, such as horses were mistreated. That was not how it was and nobody ever got cooperation from a person or a horse through constant mistreatment. As usual the lying 'liberal' media is using tactics to divide Americans. The lying 'liberal' media are also some of the biggest hypocrites. As were even the abolitionists back in the 1800's. It is very easy to profess that you are for a cause, while it is a completely different task to roll up your sleeves and fix a problem. Martin Luther King Jr was such a man, who 'rolled up his sleeves' to take action to fix a problem in America. "White cash" , like George SOROS, has always pitted "white trash" against blacks with a divide-and-conquer ploy. And as we look at what rich 'white cash' pushes politically we see evident the Soros puppet Barrack Obama. Obama's Black lineage is interesting in that Obama's Black heritage doesn't go back to slavery in America, but rather Muslim slave traders and owners in Kenya.
