A world of nations governed by law sounds just fine. Unfortunately it leads to centralised political power, the dissolution of the nation state, devaluation of individual political agency and a one world government that will be remote and aloof from the majority whilst being dominated by and responsive to a minority. On a global scale this will mean corruption and tyranny far in excess of anything we have seen in official history. If global government will ever emerge, it will have to be at a time when humanity has become so noble, honourable, honest, true, intelligent and wise that corruption and tyranny are no longer a feature of our species.
