So the first article link down below is from the Daily Mail and it covers a story about a thirty-eight year old woman named Jessica Hayes that held an unusual wedding ceremony at a Catholic church in Indiana. She says she changed her mind about the wedding dress that she wanted to wear to the occassion many times. I'm sure she finally found one that JC would be proud of. I think if JC were around
today he'd probably throw her out of the church the way that he threw out the money changers. The congregation was mostly made up of strangers. Consecrated virgins are similar to nuns in that they take a vow of chastity but they don't live in convents the way that nuns do. It's a sort of modern day nun without Whoppi Goldberg and the gang making sure you remain faithful. Hayes is a theology teacher at a high school at Fort Wayne Indiana and she decided to become a consecrated virgin after years of prayer and soul-searching. But why couldn't she have just made the vow inside of her own heart and not made it a spectacle and got the Roman Catholic Church involved? This article is quite old from the middle of 2015.
