Good Morning Pastured Meat Chickens!

It's a GOOD morning to be Pastured Poultry on God's Little Acre!

Each day our meat chickens get fresh grass and graze all day; they love flying out and spreading their wings. These meat birds are 7 weeks old and will be processed at 10-12 weeks. Red Rangers/Freedom Rangers take longer to finish out than standard Cornish Cross birds, but they forage for much of their food and have a more natural life of moving around and pecking and scratching for bugs and grass, as opposed to just laying around because their upper body has developed too fast as seen with the Cornish Cross. We love our Rangers!!!
