David Monroe hails from San Antonio, Texas and, since 1970, has been instrumental in breakthrough technologies and innovation. He holds over 50 U.S. patents, including the fist photo cell phone.
From the start of his own company Photo Telesis, David’s innovations expanded exponentially and sparked future fortune 500 companies, including e-Watch Corporation. He utilized the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) extensively to patent and protect his intellectual property. Millions of dollars were spent on these patents to propel the inventions forward.
He was a trailblazer in wireless video transmission including circuitry, encryption techniques, and compression algorithms. During his career, he has been instrumental in breakthrough technologies and innovation. He contributed to the evolution of the PC and Microprocessor Technology, as well as pioneered Desktop Video Teleconferencing, Image Sensors, Government Tactical Imaging Systems & Communications and Cellphone Image Transmission.
Unfortunately, he has also experienced struggles and extreme disappointment at the hands of the unscrupulous companies and Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB), a division of the very government organization that was created to protect inventors and their patents, the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).
