Since the founding of the Church, St. Anne has been one of the most venerated saints. She is the patroness of mothers, unmarried women, pregnant women, infertile women, and many others. Her name means “generous, merciful, and gracious.” Christians honor her on account of [1] the great degree of her virtue, [2] the height of her exalted dignity, and [3] her close relationship to the holiest persons (Jesus and Mary). St. Anne has power to aid in every necessity because her grandchild, Jesus, will refuse her no petition and her glorious daughter supports her every request. Those who faithfully venerate St. Anne will want for nothing in this life and the next. To this end, Father helps us become more familiar with her life and provides prayers by which we can grow in our devotion to her. For more please visit & remember to say 3 Hail Marys for the priest
