From the Album: My Nova Scotia Home
This is an album of Hank Snow covers.
From the back insert:
Chuck was born in New Brunswick, but was raised in Amherst, Nova Scotia which he calls home. He moved to Toronto a few years back and is well known as a club performer, as well as a great performer on many radio and television shows. The tunes on this record are the ones he receives the most requests for at shows. We are sure you will enjoy them.
Technical notes:
This album is a mess. I hope they re-released this somewhere over time. Side A on the one I have is very distorted. I tested it on my main and backup player and checked both to make sure they are calibrated and working properly. Side B is more fun but at least it sounds better. However the tracks are a mess. I hope a lot of people contacted Arc Records about their guarantee.
Track 1 on Side B contains a copy of the song "It's you, only you, that I love" from track 5 on Side A
Track 2 is actually "Down The Trail of Aching Hearts."
Track 4 is actually "Let's Pretend." (I think. It's not even listed on the back cover)
Track 5 contains a copy of the song "Sunny Side of the Mountain" again found on track 6 of Side A

About the Saskatchewan Music Project.
From about the time period of the late 70's to early 90's, various local Saskatchewan musician groups ranging from choir music to polka and more all had records, cassettes, and 8-tracks made for a local audience. All these years later most of this music has been forgotten and available only through bargain bin thrift stores. Even so, there is starting to become frequently less available all the time.
This channel is dedicated to recording this music over to digital and uploading it to digital platforms to preserve them for future generations. While the title specifically states Saskatchewan, it will also feature other local artists from across Canada and the United States.
