The fartherst the Unspunnenstein was ever thrown was 4.11 meters (13' 6”) by Markus Maire in 2004.

Interesting sidenote, the original stone from 220 years ago was lost, but it did resurface 30 years ago in Belgium. It was given back to Switzerland 20 years ago, but seperatists of the Kanton Jura already defaced it and put the 12 stars of the european union on it. Only 4 years later the stone dissapeared again (stolen) and has not been seen since then.
