This is a track from the 2012 album by the Dave Clemo Band.
We played covers. Not just straight covers but:songs by one artiste in the style of another; on acoustic instruments.
We covered songs by artistes as diverse as Thin Lizzy; Rolling Stones; Johnny Cash, Pulp; Cream and ZZ Top.
We called it 21st Century Skiffle- Punk Pop Skiffle Rock!
On most of the songs I played the solos on mandolin but on this song I played acoustic guitar.
It’s our cover of the 80s hit by Robert Palmer.
We released a very limited number of CDs which we sold at our shows. Changes in our line-up meant that the band had run its course by 2013.
