We're joined by our Patreon supporter, VideoGameHunter. He suggests we play the infamous "NightCry",a game that crashes DURING the startup, and where you can't even see the inventory menu on higher graphic settings. We wander around aimlessly for ages (in the full video) until we discover that not seeing the inventory is apparently a topic in several NightCry forums.
Additionally, our female protagonist, Monica, has such an awkward run that makes us question what her profession is aboard the cruise ship.
NightCry is a crowd-funded survival horror game by Hifumi Kono, the creator of the Clock Tower game series, and Takashi Shimizu, the director of The Grudge. In NightCry you begin as Monica Flores, a young college girl with massive breasts, as she navigates a creepy cruise ship. She's stalked by the dreaded Scissor Man- err.. Scissorwalker, a fearsome, ghostly antagonist designed by Masahiro Ito of Silent Hill monster design fame. While the game boasts branching story paths, celebrated character designers, and a lot of talent in the credits, it's a broken, unplayable mess.
