Young "Christian" Women Aren't Marrying Anymore
This is a ten part, reel series originally posted to my IG: ArthurFantast1k. In it we ask: why have we become so lax on encouraging women to marry young?
We open up with a clip of a woman "waiting" and we go from there.
Here it is in it's entirety, plus and extra clip.

"Young 'Christian' Women Aren't Marrying Anymore" (Part 1) - There's always a lot of talk about "avoiding sexual immorality," but what does the Bible say? 1 Corinthians 7 says, to paraphrase, "get married!" The Law defines sexual immorality existing completely outside of Biblical marriage - that is: sex within marriage is NOT immoral.
-
I understand praying and asking for help from God. However, are "Christian" women prioritizing marriage?
-
As we go on in the series, we will see they aren't.
(Part 2) - Even "Christian" women cannot admit they need their men. They'd rather wait.
-
Could it be they aren't married yet because they aren't a "wife" yet? 🤔
-
No, we'll just "avoid" sexual temptation as much as we avoid any self-reflection or self-criticism.
(Part 3) - God has become the Tooth Fairy or Santa Clause when it comes to finding a husband. Everything ELSE requires sacrifice, learning, ups and downs - but finding a husband? No! God's gonna just plop one down in your lap as you stay at home 🙄🙄🙄🙄
-
No! Again, becoming a wife and finding a husband are each a PROCESS.
-
Next someone is going to say "soul mate" - a concept from the Greek philosopher Aristotle. NOT THE BIBLE 🤦 There is no "ONE," except God. The "one man for you" DOES NOT exist.
-
Not only are these women delusional, they are Biblically unsound and seem to be unfit for marriage.
-
Again, all of this alludes to the underlying fact that these women DO NOT believe they NEED men.
(Part 4) - I asked "Did God plop a house in your lap, or did you have to prioritize and work for it?" She responded "God plopped a house in her lap," but then immediately says she had to do SOME work and go through a PROCESS 🤦🤦🤦
-
That's the point! Women can't give a straight answer. Did you have to prioritize and work for it? Fucking OF COURSE "YES!"
-
Is it that hard to say we need to prioritize women becoming wives and finding husbands. They think they're ready - talking like THAT, she's NOT ready for marriage. Women DO NOT know how to act 🤦🤷 Have they ever considered THAT is why they are not married? 🤔
-
Why is it so hard for women to admit they need a man?
(Part 5) - More "whataboutisms" and excuses to not just agree with the statement that we should "encourage women not to marry so late." 🤦🤦🤦
-
These are Christian women. This is modern Christianity.
(Part 6) - I blame the "church" and parents for all...
