Today's my day off so I spent the afternoon recording this rendition of The Eagles' "Hotel California." A few changes, not much. Transposed the song to Am. Added a chorus at the end, after the solo. I recorded the acoustic guitar parts on a 2001 Gibson J-150. For the clean rhythm guitar, I played my black Strat through a Rivera "Hundred Duo-Twelve" amplifier. The leads are an EVH Wolfgang through the EVH 5150 Iconic amp. I recorded the vocals through a sE2200 Large-Diaphragm Condenser Microphone, and used the same to mic the acoustic guitar and amplifiers. Ran it through a PreSonus FireStudio Project interface, and used Studio One 6.
