D/C or direct current electricity is very different as it does not change polarity and is a standing wave form and will produce hydrogen at the cathode and oxygen only at the positive anode electrode as where A/C alternating current will burn and produce both hydrogen and oxygen at both electrodes spontaneously at the same time from the rapidly changing polarity in the magnetic field. The temperature of the water is crucial to the resistance of the circuit as well as if the water is moving with a pump or not to maintain and sustain the reactor oxyhydrogen plasma ball without rapid changes in the reaction vessel or overheating the water and damaging the electrodes.
